Putting The Art In Partnership

For over 15 years, Young&Creative have partnered with leading New Zealand franchises, corporate organisations, and a diverse range of businesses, transforming their brands through a unique blend of art, marketing science and strategic insights.

Founder and Creative Director Luke’s journey exemplifies the evolution of a graphic designer. A young graduate of Media Design School, he began his career as a junior at a Ponsonby design studio, moving to a New Zealand music label and later a larger design, pre-press, and digital printing business. His mix of creative vision and entrepreneurial spirit saw him rise to lead a boutique design studio - one he believed in so much, he took the leap and made it his own.

Now leading Young&Creative from his home studio in Snells Beach, he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality creative solutions that strip away complexity and focus on impact. Having made the move with his wife Selina in 2016, the pair were drawn to the area for its relaxed, coastal lifestyle, and have immersed themselves in the community - completing projects alongside local businesses such as Tree King and The Salty Dog Social Club.

Operating as an extension of its clients’ teams, Young&Creative combine the capabilities of a larger agency with the personal touch and agility of a small studio - whether designing a single campaign or overseeing a brand’s entire evolution. With hands-on experience working directly with business owners and decision-makers, the team understands that design isn’t just about making things look good - it’s about shaping perception, building trust, and driving engagement.

Long-term partnerships have become a hallmark of the business's approach. From designing the logo for Sal’s Authentic New York Pizza in 2009 to managing design, print, web, and marketing as the brand expanded to over 50 locations, Young&Creative has been at the heart of its journey. And in just four years, Young&Creative helped Red LBP position itself as New Zealand’s largest property inspections franchise, crafting marketing tools that fuelled rapid growth.

More recently, the team collaborated with Foodstuffs, supporting internal teams with communications and events for their brands, 4 Square, PAK’nSAVE, and New World. These partnerships reflect Young&Creative’s approach: as businesses grow, they ensure consistent brand alignment while offering the flexibility to adapt to evolving needs.

Luke and his team thrives in a fast-paced studio set against a coastal backdrop that inspires creativity and fosters work-life balance. With a new studio set to open in 2025, Young&Creative continues to evolve - proving that great design isn’t just about visuals, but about forging lasting partnerships and driving brand success.
