Building up to be another sensational event, create a sand sculpture masterpiece at this year’s Sansational event. A day billed as a fun-filled family day out by the organisers, The REAL Team at Barfoot & Thompson Mangawhai in conjunction with Mangawhai Lions Club, has something for everyone.
There will be some great prizes to be won for first, second, and third-place winners in the Fancy Dressed Dog & Owner, Sand Sculpture competitions as well as the Drop The Golf Ball Raffle, and some spot prizes for the Tugof-War contests and the very popular Kids Buried Treasure Hunt.

Kaipara District Council is providing a free shuttle bus service from the Domain to the beach and back throughout the day to assist those attending by car. Free parking is available at the Domain so this park and ride option will ensure visitors can avoid what may be a very congested car park area at the Heads Surf Beach.
