Empowering Teens Through Style
Setting out with a simple yet powerful mission, Vicki Fricker’s passion for empowering teen girls to express themselves through fashion has culminated in the launch of &Wild Clothing.
As a working mum with a full-time HR role, Vicki noticed a lack of stylish, high-quality clothing options for 8-16-year-old girls. Inspired by the vibrant and diverse styles of young girls, and seeing her niece and daughter’s struggles to find clothes that resonated with their individuality, Vicki began a two-year journey to turn her idea into a reality.
A driven entrepreneur, Vicki balances her corporate career, family life, and new business. Her role as the creative force behind &Wild means she works closely with a talented New Zealand-based pattern maker to bring her designs to life. This hands-on approach ensures the brand reflects her vision while embracing global trends and high-quality craftsmanship.
Celebrating the years when individuality and self-expression are key, Vicki trusts her target demographic to lead the way, placing the brand's teen customers and models at the forefront and empowering them to define and showcase &Wild’s style. Focusing on individuality, &Wild intends to help girls embrace their confidence and selfexpression by catering to these unique and transformative years.
Every piece is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the latest trends while ensuring lasting comfort and premium quality. Contemporary designs are combined with sustainable practices, ensuring every piece is both stylish and environmentally conscious. The initial range features tops, bottoms and sweats, offering core wardrobe items to build an individual aesthetic.
Based in Mangawhai, &Wild brings an international flair to its designs, despite its local roots, offering teen girls in New Zealand access to global style trends. More than just a fashion brand - &Wild Clothing is a platform celebrating individuality, confidence, and the joy of self-expression, because being yourself is always in fashion. &Wild Clothing encourages girls to be themselves and, as Vicki says, “Stay wild!”
