A new era in dentistry

After working together on Auckland’s North Shore the duo built The Hygienists & Co based on the idea that a completely new patient experience could make ‘going to the dentist’ a more positive experience.

With a combined 35 years experience they’ve had plenty of time to listen to their patients and understand what’s most important to them. The outcome being to deliver affordability, simplicity and better outcomes, equalling bigger smiles!

Together, Lisa and Jelena provide a personalised approach to your dento-facial health, with a prevention- focused, value-based care model. Their goal is to help you look and feel great, catching issues early before they turn into big problems. Because they focus on preventative care, they don’t do restorative dentistry like fillings or extractions, so there’ll be no expensive surprises.

Jelena moved to New Zealand from Serbia 20 years ago and graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2009 as an oral health therapist. Her thorough, gentle approach combined with a touch of humour has resulted in a loyal following of clients. Her clinic has all the latest equipment you would expect to see along with some extras, including Airflow technology.

Coming from the Lake District in England, Lisa escaped the city to the beauty of Leigh. She qualified from Otago Dental School in 2006 and has since completed a postgraduate qualification in psychology and dento-facial aesthetics. Lisa is motivated to provide a holistic approach to the head and neck area through dental care, and injectable and skin rejuvenation treatments.
